Idek Bookmarks

Easy Tweeting

If you're on a page that you want to tweet about all you have to do is click this bookmark and we'll get you going. This new bookmark allows you to convert the link of the existing page to an idek url as well as tweet about it all without even leaving this page!

Tweet it!

Just drag the link to the right into your bookmark bar to get yourself started.
(IE users see below)

Once you have the bookmark there you just have to click it when you are on a page you want to tweet. We'll grab the url and the title of the page and let you write up a few words about the link.

Once you're set, just hit Tweet It, and you're all set. The first time you do this in a browser we'll ask for your Twitter username and password -- Don't worry, this information isn't stored on our servers. We encrypt it within a cookie in your browser.

One last trick, if you highlight any text on the page before you click the bookmark, we'll user that text instead of the title. This lets you quickly capture a quote without having to jump back and forth to copy and paste!

For Internet Explorer Users

Internet Explorer takes a couple more steps, but is still very easy.
  1. Right click on the link      Tweet it!
  2. Select "Add to Favorites..."
You may receive a warning, just click "Yes".
  3. For the Create in option, select the Links folder
  4. You're done! You should now see your new bookmark in your Links toolbar.
